About Andrew
I was born and raised on the West Coast of BC and now call Squamish home, where I live with my wife, two daughters, and our dog, Theo. We spend our free time mountain biking, climbing, and snowboarding.

After several shoulder dislocations and surgeries, I learned firsthand how challenging recovery can be. Then, during my studies, I was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis — a form of inflammatory arthritis that deepened my understanding of chronic pain and long-term management. These experiences shaped how I work today: with empathy, patience, and a focus on helping people get back to what they love.

How I Work
My own experience with injury and arthritis taught me that recovery isn’t just about treating symptoms — it’s about understanding the person behind them. That perspective guides how I work with every patient.

I take a one-on-one approach to care, combining advanced training and over a decade of experience to help you reach your goals. Each session begins with a thorough assessment to find the root cause of your pain or limitation, followed by hands-on therapy, IMS (Intramuscular Stimulation) dry needling, and a personalized exercise plan tailored to your needs.

My goal is to give you the knowledge, treatment, and tools to take an active role in your recovery — so you can move better, recover faster, and stay doing the things you love.

Training & Experience
Over the past decade, I’ve continued to refine my skills through advanced coursework and mentorship in orthopaedic, sports, and arthritis care. My goal has always been to combine evidence-based practice with a personalized approach that reflects the needs of each patient I see.

I stay current with new research and treatment techniques through ongoing professional development and my involvement in physiotherapy education. As part of the UBC Department of Physical Therapy, I help train future clinicians in the Rheumatology Lab — an experience that continually sharpens my own practice.

My combination of formal education, clinical experience, and continued learning allows me to provide comprehensive care that adapts to each person’s goals — whether they’re recovering from a workplace injury, training for a sport, or managing a chronic condition.
